The Angel of The Lord came down
before He was a babe
to make all grace to us abound,
the loved ones He would save.
The Angel of The Lord appeared
to saints of Israel
and Abram, Jacob, Moses feared
The One, whose Truth they’d tell.
The Angel of The Lord was there.
The universe He carved.
His footprints are seen everywhere.
His Word is plainly served.
The Angel of The Lord still loves
the peoples of the Earth.
He draws all hearts, of sin reproves
to give to each new birth.
