Shekinah

Isaiah 6:1-13

The Glory of The Lord is full

it fills the whole of Earth.

Like morning fog He all doth rule

to cover the sun’s latest birth.

The temple of The Lord now hid

in clouds, both dark and light,

doth shake and tremble as He bids

to show majestic might.

His holy servants cry aloud,

“He’s HOLY for upon His Throne

He sits and we are humbly bowed

before Christ, Who for Sin atoned.”

Oh, hush, dear ones redeem-ed whole,

thy Christ hath hidden blazing Sol.

Thy hopes will last beyond today

forever in His yard to play.

Your enemy will watch dismayed.

Forever pays he sin’s great toll.

Before The Master glistering bright,

we tremble as our strip-ped souls

seem hopeless and again of night

forgetting that He makes us whole

by Grace unending, stripped of fright.

Shekinah, that has made us blind

and opens blinded eyes,

removes all terrors so unkind

and lifts us to the skies.

His gentle voice requests we go,

full sent by his Great Name.

Anon with joy we serve below

that none could point to blame.

The heart of Man remains so fat

in fog that clouds the light.

Without Your Call there’s nothing that

can lift their deepest night.

Yet some will hear, the tithe of souls.

Shekinah keeps Egyptians blind,

while lighting hearts forever whole.

The holy seed their land will find.

Their voices will become quite bold.

Shekinah shows The Lord, Who lives.

He’s dark and he is light.

The sight of holiness He gives

to those, who’ve been made right.
