John 14:6
When Jesus rose up from the dead,
He walked right out the tomb.
He is alive, becoming bread
from resurrection’s womb.
From Friday’s dark to Sunday’s Light
His body laid in state,
but when the morn o’ercame the night
Creation gasped, “He’s Great!”
The sting of Sin was Death’s cold grip,
but sinews He shredded raw.
The only souls Death’s clutch can whip
are those who live the Law.
The Son of God is bright, indeed.
He lives forevermore.
The ones He’s changed by Risen Seed
forever Him adore.
The Light of life is Jesus Christ,
the Risen, Saving Lord.
Oh, come to Him, Who paid the price,
relying on His Word!
